The continuing Ashtanga practice...

sunny 26 °C

I know its a little unorthodox to start a travel diary while you're actually still at home. But what the hell? I have 5 months to go until I am back in Mysore and have been deeply enjoying my practice. It is pretty much daily at Yoga Shala in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, the UK. Since I returned from India last year, progress has been circular and interesting. And repetition is the key. Keep going, keep going, keep going, and things change- in your practice, in your life- sometimes they seem to change behind your back, and you are approaching something with a brand new attitude that just crept up on you. And sometimes it floats, sometimes it doesn't. you have no control, you have to surrender. I've been falling more and more in love with the practice every day. That has worried me slightly in the past. But not now, I'm just going with it....... I'll leave it there for today, essays to write, and a class to teach later on.........
